Have you ever had a time in your life where it was so bad you just wanted to hide away for a year?
Look back at that time right now. Put the pieces together. Was it a blessing in disguise that linked you to where you are right now? Was it actually as detrimental as it seemed at the time? Did you gain new knowledge and break open a part of your world you never knew existed?
For me recently it has seemed like a lot of 2022 (last year) was a ton of big things seeming to be failures one after another. From a job to a family situation. I gained so much insight and feel so much better off where I am now looking back I would do it all over again as hard as it was to go through at the time. Don’t ever feel bad for feeling bad and having a hard time just don’t get stuck in it and try to see where this is taking you. You can’t build new without tearing the old down. Can’t build a new house on top of the old, you have to tear the old one down first because it wasn’t working. You can’t have better without getting rid of the not so good stuff. It may seem detrimental at the time, but I promise there’s a reason and it will get better. Pull yourself up and get excited why a certain thing or person is falling away because the universe is making room for so much better!
You have to forcefully shift into the positive and catch yourself when in the negative. We are wired to prepare for the worse. Ask ” am I really suffering that bad.” ” Is this really that bad?” Then sit your butt down and start writing 3 things you are grateful for daily. It can be as simple as your morning coffee tasting just right or as big as being grateful to be alive. Make sure you don’t forget the small joys in life!
